Change to the Child Tax Credit Refundable Amount 2023:
The child tax credit remains at $2,000 per child 16 and under. The Refundable amount of the Child Tax Credit for 2023 has been increased from $1,600 to $1,800 for 2023. In 2024 this amount increases to $1,900 and in 2025 it increases to the full $2,000.
